Smashing Good Time

Ever seen anyone getting into a Serious Fight? Got my chance, last night. Perfecto. Live show to wrap things up for the evening.

I was in the middle of a Serious conversation, when all of a sudden, people (all of them) from the opposite table suddenly turned and fixed their eyes at something outside. Wasnt really bothered about what they were looking at, until i hear "there's a fight there's a fight.."

Outside, i saw a drunk guy (being restrained by 2 others ) trying to push another girl (tomboy) while screaming with a disgusted face (cant hear what that screaming was all about, vulgarities perhaps? ) Behind the girl who was being pushed, was another waitress; seemingly part of the ugly dispute. After more pushing and shoving, things start to get more violent. Drunk guy grabbed hold on a glass bottle on one of the tables, and was about to smash it on her, but one of the fellas holding him back manage to stop him in time. *shove push push shove* grabs another one and *Smash!!* ..... my jaw dropped. The girl was stil standing there, probably shaken, and she just stood there. Girls screamed..the whole scene was nothing but chaos.

From the inside, all of us there was watching it as if it was a scene from a violent movie starring drunkards fighting over women. All we could do is to watch whats happening out there, behind glass windows; its seemingly the safest place to be in amidst the chaos. Things dont end there. All of a sudden, a dark cap-wearing guy sitting at the table next to us got up, burst out through the doors and join in the "game". The next thing i know *Smash!* He hit that girl with another glass bottle... (dont see how he's related to that in anyway at all...)

Jaw dropping incident. Chaos. Bloodied people. Panicking patrons. An obviously Dazed cashier. =.=''

Still wasnt sure what happened. The only thing on my mind was to get out of that place. That girl probably flirted with the girlfriend or something (fights are always about girls..). Or drunk guy is against Homos. I looked every bit like the one who got hit, so the wisest thing to do is to - Get the f*ck out of that f*cking place!!

Hmm. Interesting. The image of the glass breaking upon contact with a female skull (ouch!), shattering it into pieces in the process, the sound of breaking glass (unpleasant auditory experience), the whole scene of pushing and shoving, sweaty crazy guy sitting at the next table, green shirt pervert bearing a sheepish smile (yucks!) - This is someting NEW, an odd combination of events ... a sight to behold.

Why do people resort to violence to sort things out? Alcohol twist a sane man's sane mind? Or he's memang twisted? That's soooooo ....Barbaric, so barbarus. Probably they'll slap each other with lawsuits? Or mastermind Gang-Fights, next time, same place? Get more people, use more weapons? Gawd..who knows.

I'll never understand this. Incomprehensible.
