Givers and Takers

There's no fine line defining what makes a Giver and a Taker. I personally do not think that a Giver can be a Giver entirely, nor a Taker be a Taker entirely.

I've heard claims about Givers being exclusively Givers, and Takers, being exclusively Takers. There were also claims about a giver and a taker in a relationship actually helps to balance things off. In that way one gives, another takes, so needs are met and there are no space for complaints about one not giving enough; for the giver's part, or the taker - not getting enough.

Believe me, eventually you'll get sick of being a Giver, and wished that you were both.

Givers have their subconscious needs, no matter how minimal it is. They are a Taker, just that it takes a different form from which they give. Perhaps the best way to learn is to try to understand each other's needs. Communication is still the key. You cant learn without talking to each other. Certain things can go unspoken of, but others, its inevitable. No matter how comfortable you with the unspoken understanding, some things cannot go unspoken. Some things are better left unsaid, some others, are better off said.

Agree.
But I always feel im a giver til one fine day i woke up and think: Is someone actually 'giving' me? And I had never noticed it?
So... hmm... maybe i'm just a self-absorbed freak... perhaps... perhaps...
